There is a $20 non-refundable application fee. This covers our costs of checking credit, criminal background, and previous rental references. Move-in costs include first month's rent, a deposit equal to one month's rent, and getting utilities into your name (in town, that amounts to about $212).  A very few of our units allow one small (under 20 pounds) dog, some do allow one cat, with a $300 pet deposit.  We encourage potential renters to check on utility bills with the city and to purchase renters' insurance to cover damages to their personal belongings, or liability for damages to the property .   Building insurance does not cover personal property, and you can be held responsible for accidental or intentional damages.
